Adrienne and Alvaro were Married in Vieques, Puerto Rico (a small Island off the coast of Puerto Rico). The most convenient way to get there is by using Cape Air once you have landed in San Juan it is a 20 minute flight aboard a little Cessna to get to the Island. The Island is virtually a virgin land of some of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. Since there is only one major hotel on the Island, The W, the island does not get a lot of the normal tourism you see in the rest of the Caribbean. LOVE LOVE LOVED IT! (we will be going back shortly) :) I had the Pleasure of working with Arron Tharpe from 31 films on this adventure, and cannot wait to see his capture of the week. Sandy from Weddings in Vieques was on hand all week to make sure everything ran smoothly. Adrienne and Alvaro decided to let the Island be their back drop and decoration, so everything they did had a casual (let the island be our decoration) sort of feel.Days at the Beach and nights hanging out at the local bars made up the entire weekend. You can see their slideshow here: Puerto Rico Wedding otherwise enjoy the sampling of images below.

Just thought that I would share this crazy story with you:
Every once in a while something happens that blows your mind away. Something that is so crazy and seemingly random that you cannot really explain why or how it could have possibly occurred. last week I met Alex (Groom) in Cancun over dinner my first night at the Presidente Intercontinental Hotel. We had finished dinner and were sitting around sharing some wine when Father John (Priest Conducting Ceremony) said something about Alex's ring because he was wearing an identical James Avery Cross ring. Alex turns to father John and begins to tell him how he found the ring on a Volleyball court. Half Jokingly I interjected a comment under my breath about it being the courts over on Barker Cypress and I10. Alex turns toward me and says "yes, actually it was those courts". I reply that I lost a James Avery Ring (identical to the one he is wearing) about ten years ago on those same courts. His reply "I found this ten years ago" ... he hands me the ring it and it fits perfectly. Just one of those funny, odd, random crazy things that happen... now is this my ring? maybe... maybe not... pretty freaken coincidental if you ask me...
ha! I have that same ring in gold..and smaller (girls size) I HAS TO BE THE SAME RING!!! CRAZY!
(02.01.10 @ 02:50 PM)May or may not be the same ring but every now and then, we get a divine reminder that we are exactly where we are supposed to be, doing what we were meant to do.
(02.01.10 @ 04:22 PM)WOW! That's crazy!
(02.01.10 @ 07:34 PM)That gave me chills!
(02.03.10 @ 04:00 PM)That gave me chills!
(02.03.10 @ 04:05 PM)Dude...it was meant to be!! Tammy came to us through referral of a past bride. We couldn't do her wedding because we were booked. So we gave her a list of our preferred photographers with your name included. I am glad they went with you!!
