Just thought that I would share this crazy story with you:

Every once in a while something happens that blows your mind away.  Something that is so crazy and seemingly random that you cannot really explain why or how it could have possibly occurred.  last week I met Alex (Groom) in Cancun over dinner my first night at the Presidente Intercontinental Hotel. We had finished dinner and were sitting around sharing some wine when Father John (Priest Conducting Ceremony) said something about Alex's ring because he was wearing an identical James Avery Cross ring.  Alex turns to father John and begins to tell him how he found the ring on a Volleyball court. Half Jokingly I interjected a comment under my breath about it being the courts over on Barker Cypress and I10.  Alex turns toward me and says "yes, actually it was those courts".  I reply that I lost a James Avery Ring (identical to the one he is wearing) about ten years ago on those same courts.  His reply "I found this ten years ago" ... he hands me the ring it and it fits perfectly.  Just one of those funny, odd, random crazy things that happen... now is this my ring? maybe... maybe not... pretty freaken coincidental if you ask me...

Earlier this summer I had the pleasure of photographing my friends Elizabeth and Gary of E.Sullivan Photography wedding in Playa Del Carmen. The wonderful team from Schwartz and Woodward flew in to take care of all the details for Gary and Elizabeth.  The event took place at the Barcelo Maya Palace and was one of the most relaxed and chill groups I have had the pleasure to photograph.  Aside from the diving done everyday they relaxed and drank at the pool. Check out the beautiful couplel!!! Check out their Slideshow.

The Bride says:

Marco, I love these pictures! Everything about Parts 1-4 spectacularly captures our wedding weekend. I can't wait to see the rest of them!!!
A couple of my favorite things:
1. The quality of your pictures makes me feel like my wedding was something from a magazine
2. You have a way of capturing people in moments that define their personality and typical characteristics... and they don't even know your watching. i.e. Ramon giving me "the look" in Part 1, My grandmother focusing on her pasta at the stove, Adam with a coy smirk, Julio enjoying a hearty laugh in Part 4
3. You didn't miss a moment or a detail all weekend - me in mid-air on the dance floor and raindrops on the clothesline says it all
4. You can make even "traditional" poses/photos look artistic and amazing - for example, in Part 3, the pictures of us on the altar during the ceremony are so visually interesting and different, yet still capture the important "poses" (kneeling, standing, kissing, etc.)

Beau Brotherton says:

Amazing!! The first two shots in this section are absolutely STUNNING! The color is so beautiful. I agree, this shots should, and most likely will be in a magazine. :)

MARCO: I knew you had captured some diamonds during this affair, but after seeing what you actually got, there is no way to describe it. I have read all the comments so far, and they all describe parts of the whole. Your work is unbelievable. The black-and -whites are as good as the color pictures. You are almost too young to be this good !! THANK YOU !!
