Naila and Alex were married in December at the Majestic Metro in downtown Houston. Beautiful Venue, Beautiful Couple. Naila (model for Gayla Bentley) is a pro in front of the camera and alex was just one of those grooms who just adores his bride, which made pictures very easy. Add the beautiful lighting and interesting design of a theatre for an event and you get an all around beautiful wedding to photograph. Special thanks to Chip and Matthew from Studio 563 for second shooting with me!

I talked to Joe about getting all the pictures from this event. These pictures posted are fabulous, but I need more. How can I get the rest of them? Can I get a link to download ALL of them?
Thanks -

Ok so we have been crazy traveling the last couple of weeks and I wanted to share one image that my couple are very proud of since they worked so hard to stand still in the middle of the night on top of a hill, overlooking the rainforest, in the Mountains of Belize with poisonous snakes, bullet ants and tarantulas all about, during their destination engagement shoot (I apologize for the run-on sentence). We had just finished eating dinner at the Blancaneaux Lodge (one of Francis Ford Coppola's properties) and decided to shoot against the backdrop of the magnificent stars.  (Yes... people those stars are not photoshopped in and this is one exposure... be it a long exposure).  Aarti and Purav are getting married in Austin in April and decided to do a destination engagement session in one of their favorite getaways (Belize).  Three days.  Four hotels. Four Flights.  Beaches, Rain-forests, Mountains, Waterfalls, and Mayan Ruins all made their way into the backdrop of this amazing session.  Hope to blog a bit of the session soon but for now.... enjoy this wicked cool image courtesy of my new Nikon D3s which allows me to test the limits and imagination of my photography.

thanks... yes i was amazed by the sheer volume of stars we could see with the eye up in the mountains. Made me wonder why I live in a big city.

Though we photograph weddings in Miami, and tend to shoot about 8-10 weddings internationally a year, the majority of the weddings we photograph are in Houston Texas. For the first time we will have a full page ad in Weddings in Houston.  We decided to go a little less traditional in our ad.  Featuring a recent landscape portrait taken in Las Vegas with Xochy and Todd, (see video of shoot here- done by joey at 31 films) we will be shooting their wedding in Turks and Caicos in February.  Here is the new ad you will see in Weddings in Houston (Spring 2010).
